Guidelines for Full Paper Submission
- All papers should be written in English.
- Papers presented at ICEM must be original, and must not have been previously presented or published.
- Prepare a full paper of 5-7 pages relevant to the conference topics.
- Submissions should include paper title, authors’ names and affiliations, figures, references and biographies.
- Authors' biographies (max. 200 words) without authors' pictures must be included in the paper. Please note that biographies do not count towards the page limit.
- The maximum file size is 4MB.
Authors must respect the provided template in order to avoid rejection. For example, the margin at the bottom of each page is the place reserved for IEEE Copyright and page numbers. Please don’t reduce the margin by all means. Any submitted paper not compliant with the requested template will be automatically rejected.

Review Process
- The submission and review processes are under control of the IEEE-IES system.
- Each paper is reviewed by at least 3 independent reviewers.
- CrossCheck software will be used to detect plagiarism.
Guidelines for Final Paper Submission
- At least one author of each accepted paper must have completed a full registration by the deadline for uploading the final manuscript.
- Papers not presented in person will not be submitted to the IEEE Xplore digital library.
- Before submitting the final PDF version, please verify that the Statement of Originality has been respected.
- During the submission of the final version, you will be asked to click the IEEE Copyright box.
- Any paper not respecting the two previous requirements will be rejected when the ICEM 2026 Proceedings will be generated.
- The pdf file of your final submission must follow the PDF eXpress guidelines for PDF conversion included below. For initial submissions, PDF eXpress is not necessary.
- Before creating the pdf file, please proofread accurately the document to confirm that it will not require any revision (revision is impossible after submitting the final version).
Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site.
First-time users should do the following:
1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
2. Enter the following:
- 68283X for the Conference ID
- your email
- a password
3. Continue to enter information as prompted.
An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup. Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Contacting PDF eXpress Support
Access the Publications Support Center for IEEE PDF eXpress. If you do not find an answer in the Find Answers tab, go to the “Submit A Question” tab. Your question will be forwarded to IEEE PDF Support and answered within 3 business days.
