Student Forum: Call for Participation

ICEM 2026 will host a forum for MSc students, PhD students, and early career researchers (PhD concluded less than 2 years before the beginning of the conference). This forum brings a great opportunity for students to discuss, debate and share ideas on topics relevant to their field of study or interests.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently being registered as a MSc or PhD student;

• Having finished the PhD thesis within the last 24 months before the beginning of the conference.

Condition of Participation

• Payment of a student or full registration fee.

Submission Guidelines

Potential Student Forum participants should submit their proposals including the following:

• Individual poster (using the provided template) summarizing the entire research work along the graduation period (one author per poster);
• A one page CV (PDF format) to be shown next to the poster.

The three best posters will receive the ICEM Jorma Luomi Student Forum Award during the ICEM 2026 Closing Ceremony.

Please note that the participation in the Student Forum does not exclude the participants from presenting papers at the regular or special sessions of the conference, and does not cumulate with the papers admitted per full registration, as the Student Forum posters do not imply submitting papers to review.
