Instructions for Paper Presentation

In the ICEM 2026 Proceedings, there will be no distinction between oral and poster presentations. All accepted papers will be treated equally and will be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore after the conference, provided that they are presented and successfully pass the IEEE post-conference compliance checks.

Papers that are not presented ("no-show" papers) will be removed from the final ICEM 2026 Proceedings and will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

Oral Presentations

Authors presenting an oral paper are kindly requested to visit the Speaker Ready Desk, which will be open throughout the conference.

Presenters must report to the Speaker Ready Desk at least one hour before the beginning of their session to upload their presentation with the assistance of the technical staff.

Presentations must be provided in PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX) or PDF format on a USB flash drive. The use of personal laptops during the presentation will not be permitted in order to avoid delays and technical issues.

Each presentation slot is 20 minutes, including questions and discussion. Authors are strongly encouraged to limit their presentation to 15 minutes (approximately 15–20 slides), leaving the remaining 5 minutes for questions.

Presenting authors are also requested to provide the session co-chairs with a printed short biography (maximum 10 lines) before the beginning of the session.

Poster Presentations

Preparing a poster is both a challenging and rewarding exercise. Simply displaying a printed copy of the conference paper is not permitted.

Authors should prepare their poster using the official conference template.

The poster must be in A0 portrait format (118.9 cm × 84.1 cm). Please ensure that these dimensions are strictly respected.

Authors are responsible for mounting their posters on the display boards assigned by the conference organizers, using the materials provided by the support staff in the poster area.

Presenting authors are expected to remain at their posters during the scheduled poster session to discuss their work with conference participants and to answer questions. They should also be prepared to present their work to members of the ICEM Awards Committee, if requested.
